What's New for 2027?
The 2027 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 is the most powerful, most advanced Silverado ever built — a full fifth-generation redesign with two all-new V8 engines, a bold new exterior, and a fully digital interior experience.
All-New V8 Engines
For the first time since the 1999 model year, a 5.3L will not be available as the 5.3L V8 is officially retiring. The 2027 Silverado 1500 introduces two next-generation small-block V8s: a 5.7L and a class-leading 6.6L — the most powerful naturally aspirated V8 in the full-size segment.

Every 2027 Silverado 1500 comes standard with a class-leading 16.3" centre touchscreen and 12.2" digital gauge cluster. ZR2 and High Country trim lines add an 11.5" passenger screen, HUD, and digital rearview mirror.
Lifted Off-Road Trims
In response to massive demand, the 2027 lineup features three lifted trims: Custom Trail Boss, Trail Boss (2" lift, 34" MT tires), and the flagship ZR2 with 35" MT tires, front/rear E-lockers, and Multimatic DSSV dampers.
Simplified 7-Trim Lineup
The "LT" is retired, replaced by the new "Silverado" trim. Lineup: Work Truck, Custom, Silverado, Custom Trail Boss, Trail Boss, High Country, and ZR2. Z71 package is now standard on all Silverado 4x4 models.
Expected Release Date
Chevrolet officially revealed the 2027 Silverado 1500 on June 16, 2026. Canadian deliveries are expected to begin in late 2026, with Kelowna Chevrolet receiving allocation shortly after.
